Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. Her most famous role is Skyler White in the AMC Drama Breaking Bad, for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 as well as 2014 for Outstanding Supporting Actress for a Drama Series. In addition, she has played Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. The actress fell in love with performing at the age of Preparatory after which she moved to Ohio with her family in the early 1970s. She took classes at Northwestern University to study theatre as well as the British American Drama Academy. Anna performed in Chicago's theater for several years, before attempting TV and movie roles. Anna's debut role was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She played in 29 episodes. She continued to appear as a guest star in a number of television shows and films like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue till the latter part of the 1990's when she appeared in a role that she reprised as Jean Ward in The Practice. In 2000, she was assigned to Deadwood in the role of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler played her character on Breaking Bad. Sully was the Deadwood film, and a few other movies have also featured her. Gunn also took to stage and played in David Schwimmer's production of Sex With Strangers. The actress played a role in the podcast's four-part audio drama, Numbered Days. It is set to be released in 2022. The love story of Walter White and his wife Skyler tends to be the central theme of the narrative on Breaking Bad with the strained attraction between the couple and eventually its demise reflecting the exact arc of Walter White's final days of his life.
